1. What this service is
bitcoinisbsv.com is an alpha-stage advertising exhibit. Visitors can buy ad plots on a 40×25 grid and rent poster boards in a virtual foyer. Payment is made in Bitcoin SV (BSV) on the BSV mainnet. All purchases are final and non-refundable.
2. Ad plots — what you get
Paying 1 BSV for a plot gets you:
- Display of your URL on the 1,000-plot grid for at least 1 year from purchase (the "Display Guarantee").
- Your plot entry recorded in a Bitcoin Script covenant transaction on the BSV blockchain, as a permanent public record of the transaction. This record is immutable and remains visible via on-chain explorers indefinitely.
You are buying advertising display time. You are not buying an asset, a security, a token, a share, or real estate. A plot's owner may transfer it to another key on-chain by listing it for sale at a price of their choosing; the grid takes a 3% royalty on each such sale, enforced by the covenant, and the Display Guarantee follows the plot. We do not operate a marketplace and make no representation about resale value.
3. Poster boards — what you get
Paying the stated fee for a poster board gets you display of your uploaded image + click-through URL in a named deck wall slot for at least one year from the day it goes live, and after that for as long as the deck is running — we do not clear the wall. Slots cannot be taken over. You can update the image, link, and caption at any time while your slot is active.
4. No refunds
All purchases are final. BSV is not reversible; we cannot recall it. If the platform becomes temporarily unavailable during the Display Guarantee period, we will make reasonable efforts to restore it, but we do not promise uninterrupted service.
5. Your content is your responsibility
You agree not to publish content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, infringes trademarks or copyrights, incites violence or hate, promotes fraud, or breaches third-party rights. See the Acceptable Use Policy for the full list.
We may remove any poster, mask any plot URL in the display, or suspend your account if you break these rules. Removal does not entitle you to a refund. For plots, while the on-chain record cannot be altered, we may cease displaying a plot's link on the grid if it violates this section.
6. Takedown requests
If you believe a plot or poster infringes your rights or violates the AUP, email takedown@bitcoinisbsv.com with the slot or plot coordinates, your name, a description of the rights/rule violated, and contact details. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the service is provided "as is" with no warranty; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses; and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you actually paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Alpha status
This service is in active development. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn. Testnet plots and posters have no monetary value and exist to demonstrate the platform. Before mainnet launch, we will publish a separate notice describing the economic and legal terms of mainnet purchases.
9. Privacy
Our handling of your account data is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
